I've had more opportunities to sit down and talk to Moms about their child's learning in a heart-to-heart way -- and I believe it's because I have started to tell my own story. I've started to follow my 'true hearts desire' to reach out and support Moms.
I understand what it's like to feel alone when you are trying to help your child.
I know what its like to feel lost -- when the answers to help your child are not really clear.
I know what it's like when you feel you are the 'only one' dealing with the concerns in front of you.
I know what it's like to look for support but there seems to be no one 'out there' that truly understands what your child needs -- or what you need to help your child. So, you are left wondering where to turn for support or help.
I get this! This is part of my story.
And I now realize that my story can change lives. I can offer my story and my experiences to help others.
I know it won't be easy but I will take it one step at a time. I'm ready to reach out to Moms and help them in anyway I can. I will start by empowering them -- ideally -- even before any concerns are identified by them. Yes! That is my ultimate goal to empower moms now so they are ready to take on any challenges that come their way.
Is this goal too big?
No, nothing is impossible.
So I'm taking my first big step towards this impossible goal and I have stepped out! Yup, I've created a 5 Day Mama Challenge to start to empower Moms. I'm offering them a daily video to help them tap into their amazing abilities -- right at home -- and a private Facebook group where they can support and encourage each other.
I have already met some awesome Mamas as we wait for the Challenge to start and they are amazing! I have Mamas in the group that want to be prepare for challenges and I have Mamas that are presently dealing with learning concerns. They are all incredible Mamas!
The Beyond OK 5 Day Mama Challenge is starting this Monday January 19th and it's free.
So here I go towards the dream to empower and support Moms -- so they can inturn empower and support their child!
